We began Rub-A-Dub-Dub in 2007 as a place to hear and to play the music we loved, we just wanted to throw a party and play out stuff that nobody had a chance to hear in Newcastle. People went crazy for it and the legend of the Dub was born.
Since then we have continued to grow, but never forgotten our original mission, and our roots. We still hunt out and discover new music, we still revolutionise the music being played in Newcastle and beyond, and we still love it as much as we ever did.
We also still throw this party for ourselves as much as for anyone else, hence why we’ve booked so many amazing Artists, and thrown parties in Warehouses, O2 Academy and soon in Digital Newcastle. We love it, we hope you love it and we’re sure you will.
Past guests have included Nero, Skream, Caspa, SubFocus, Jack Beats, Flux Pavilion, Danny Byrd and many more. After 3 incredible years at Cosmic Ballroom, ‘The Dub’ moved to theCUT in February 2011 and continued where we left off, hosting incredible raves for the masses of music lovers in the city.
